    In accordance with the provisions of Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Norfolk County Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that owing to emergency sewer repair works the use by vehicles (of any class) of the C332 The Street from 340 metres southwest of its junction with C331 Little Snoring Road for 50 metres south westwards (the “Road”) in the Parish of Kettlestone will be temporarily prohibited/restricted.

    Alternative route is via: C332The Street, C331 Little Snoring Road,C331 Kettlestone Road, A148 Holt Road (Little Snoring, Kettlestone).

    The works promoter for this restriction/closure is: Anglian Water.

    The closure/restriction is necessary because of the likelihood of danger to the public or serious damage to the road or both.

    The closure/restriction is anticipated to take place from 24th November to 12th December 2025 but the Road may continue to be closed/restricted until the 14th December 2025 where the closure/restriction is still required beyond the anticipated dates.

    This Notice shall automatically revoke on the completion of the works / when the closure/restriction is no longer necessary or otherwise on the 14th December 2025 without further notice.

    If necessary, this Notice may be extended for an additional 21 days by further Notice and/or for a maximum of 18 months from the date this Notice is effective by further Order.

    A person who contravenes, or who uses or permits the use of a vehicle in contravention of the restriction/ closure imposed by the Order shall be guilty of an offence.

    Penalty: £1000 maximum fine on conviction and/or endorsement for contravention.

    Norfolk County Council proposes to make a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (the “Order”) (NTRO10294) affecting the C332 The Street from 38 metres southwest of its junction with Orchard Grove for 50 metres south-westwards (the “Road”) in the  Parish of Kettlestone to facilitate fire hydrant repairs, the Road will be temporarily closed (except for pedestrian access) for the duration of the works/period the closure is necessary which is anticipated to be from 27th to 29th October 2025, but may continue to be closed/restricted until the 10th December 2025 where the closure is still required beyond the anticipated dates.

    Alternative route is via: C332 The Street, C317 Little Snoring Road, A148 Holt Road, C331 Snoring Road (Little Snoring, Kettlestone).

    The works promoter for this restriction/closure is: Anglian Water.

    Vehicular access will be permitted to a final destination in the Road where signs indicating such access is possible and permitted are in place.

    The Order shall automatically revoke on the completion of the works when the closure is no longer necessary or otherwise on the 10th December 2025 without further notice.

    If necessary, the restriction could run for a maximum period of 18 months from the date the Order is effective.
